My name is Adrian Shier, and I have founded Shier Strength with the express interest of providing personal training services, nutritional guidance, and spiritual advice to you so that we may work together to accomplish your goals. I am currently in my first year of study on my way to obtaining a PhD in clinical psychology, and I am a certified personal trainer of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Throughout my fitness journey, I have always been actively engaged in the process of learning how to build a lean, muscular physique. Over the course of five years, I learned the basic and more advanced methods of burning fat, building muscle, eating healthy whole foods, and training people to develop bodies and lifestyles they are proud of. I am passionate about motivating people to not only reach their goals, but to go beyond them and do more than they can imagine. This is the power of having a trainer who will push you to new limits and inspire you to keep working consistently.
As my fitness journey as well as my academic studies continue, I will always educate myself about exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits (i.e., stress management, time management, and so forth) in order to best serve you and inform you with the most pertinent wisdom the literature and my own experiences have to offer.
I emphasize a personalized approach to everything that involves lifestyle choices. This means that I am sensitive to your individual needs, and I understand that you are unique because no two people are exactly the same. On the basis of individual biochemistry, I take nothing for granted when it comes to helping you burn fat and build a lean physique that you can rightfully call your own through your hard work. Everything you and I do together will be specific to you, and it will not be the same from person to person. I will give you your own set of tools to accomplish your goals, and these tools will not belong to anyone else because they will have their own.
Ultimately, you and I will embark on a journey toward your goals in which I will guide, motivate, and inspire you as well as help keep you accountable for your progress. I believe in your abilities to reach your goals, and I can give you the extra push you need to get there and continuously improve thereafter.
